December corn was up 2 3/4 cents, November soybeans were up 16 3/4 cents, and September Chicago wheat was up 6 3/4 cents.
Look for lean hog futures to open lower, checked by long liquidation and struggling carcass value. Cattle futures seem set to open on a mixed basis thanks to short-covering and cash premiums.
